Who we are

Frederik is Partner at vestigium and clipeum and has more than 19 years of professional experience in various financial and compliance functions.

Frederik started his career at PwC in 2001 where he gained extensive experience in external audit, internal controls, SOX, reporting, people management and coaching. After 7 years PwC and 2 years as accounting manager, Frederik started working as an interim manager late 2010. He completed various projects at large and medium-sized companies, including financial controlling, financial reporting, ERP transitions, business process management, internal audit and risk management. He mainly focuses on consultancy in the field of information security, data protection and internal audit.

Frederik has a master’s degree in Applied Economics (2000 - University of Antwerp). He also obtained a postmaster in Tax (2001 - KU Leuven). More recently, Frederik obtained a certificate with distinction in "Process Mining: Data Science in Action" (2015 - Technical University of Eindhoven) and a certificate with distinction in “Data Analytics” (2016 – Wharton University). In February 2017, he successfully completed his training as “Data Protection Officer” (Data Protection Institute, Mechelen).
